Discontinued glass torches

These models are no longer made, but they still show up on the used market and in older studios. We keep them here for reference; they are left out of the finder and the current catalog so today's buyers aren't steered toward something they can't buy new.

A discontinued torch is still worth a page. Owners searching for a manual, a replacement part, or a tip that fits an older head need to know what the torch was in the first place, and someone buying secondhand needs to know it will not be backed by current manufacturer support the way a torch still in production is. Both of those are ordinary searches, so we answer them rather than pretend the model never existed.

We call a torch discontinued when the maker's own site stops listing it, or when the maker names a successor that has taken its place in the lineup. We do not infer discontinuation from a store running low on stock or from a listing disappearing off a reseller's site; that tells you about one seller's inventory, not about whether the manufacturer still makes the thing. Where a maker has named a successor, the model's card below says so and links to that current torch's page; where no successor has been named, the card just says the model is discontinued and leaves it there rather than guessing at a replacement.

These pages stay live and keep their own URLs rather than redirecting to the successor or to the current catalog. A redirect would erase the page someone is actually looking for when they search the old model name, and it would quietly send secondhand buyers toward a price and spec sheet that is not the torch in front of them.
